The Association AVETIS and UNESCO present “Mozart for Peace”, an event that beautifully combines Mozart’s Requiem with an opera gala. The Orchestra della Magna Grecia and the vocal ensemble Musikairos, led by conductor John Axelrod, will accompany soloists Barbara Frittoli, Erwin Schrott, Varduhi Khachatryan, and Migran Agadzhanyan. The program includes the Requiem along with famous overtures, arias, and duets from Mozart’s operas such as “La Clemenza di Tito”, “Idomeneo”, “The Marriage of Figaro”, and “Don Giovanni”.

You will join them on a journey through multiple forms of solitude; a voyage through interviews, texts, songs, life scenes, imagined scenes, laughter, and lightness. Each evening will result in the creation of a new landscape in which everyone can recognize themselves.
