Mini Book Club: Flower Power

The MAH mini book club offers families a relaxing experience centered around the reading of stories, adventures, or explorations. Each session is followed by a fun activity to extend the enjoyment of reading. It is designed for children aged 6 and up, accompanied by an adult.

VIVA is a performing arts festival dedicated to young people aged 12 to 20, where art and youth come together.

Organized by the Department of Public Instruction, Education, and Youth of Geneva, in collaboration with La Comédie de Genève, Théâtre Am Stram Gram, and Pavillon ADC, VIVA offers an immersive experience in the performing arts. It’s a space where teenagers bring creativity to life on stage, exploring dance, theater, music, and other art forms.

Held across three major venues in Eaux-Vives, the festival provides free professional performances for those under 20. It also offers young people from Geneva’s public secondary schools the opportunity to present original artistic creations, celebrating their talent and passion in a vibrant springtime atmosphere.

Dive into the Arctic waters with an engaging and interactive exhibition by UNIGE, where you can virtually board the Gaia sailboat with Barbara and Thierry Courvoisier. Delve into natural sciences with insights into navigation, natural phenomena, and Arctic wildlife.

VIVA is a performing arts festival in Geneva specifically designed for young people aged 12 to 20. Hosted at venues including the Comédie de Genève, the Théâtre Am Stram Gram, and the Pavillon ADC, the festival is a collaborative effort by various Geneva-based institutions. It offers a range of free performances from dance, theater, and music, while also providing youth with the chance to explore the behind-the-scenes world of artistic professions.

One highlight includes “Parlez-moi d’amour” at La Comédie, a musical and theatrical cabaret where a girl from the Moon delves into the concept of love.

 

10 – 17 April

At the Théâtre Am Stram Gram, the exhibition “Au Milieu de la Tempête d’école” showcases photographs and testimonies from ACCES II students, resulting from a workshop led by Ariane Catton. The students express their feelings about their school environment, highlighting their experiences with solitude and challenges in integration.

Thursday 17 April, 11:00

Ciné-Relax screenings welcome everyone, including parents with babies, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. Unexpected behaviors are embraced. The film is shown in a calming environment with gentle sounds, allowing the freedom to come and go as you please. After the film, you can engage in a discussion, enjoy a drink, and explore the museum’s exhibitions.

The Comédie de Genève hosts the exhibition “À quoi resemble un repas chez toi ?”, a project by students from ECG Jean-Piaget and ACCES II, guided by artist François Burland. This exhibition explores the cultural connections through tablecloths, fanzines, and correspondence, highlighting food as a medium for social bonds and identity expression.
