Join our literary tour of the “La Genevoise” exhibit, accompanied by our special guests. CKS Gallery presents “Impulsion abstraite”, an exhibition dedicated to the paintings of renowned artists such as Georges Mathieu, André Marfaing, Alfred Reth, Anselm Kiefer amongst others. This exhibition explores the dynamic and expressive abstract styles of these 20th century painters, focusing on their innovative use of form and gesture. Through a selection of powerful and evocative artworks, “Impulsion abstraite” offers a deep dive into the post-war abstract movement.
The Patchwork exhibition brings together six Latin American artists who engage in an aesthetic dialogue rich in textures and forms, blending painting, photography, and sculpture. From Niura Bellavinha’s geometric abstraction to Pietrina Checcacci’s bronze sculptures celebrating femininity, and from Marcela Ferrero’s chromatic explorations to moments captured by Teodelina Detry and Mila Mayer, each work weaves a unique narrative. Mai-Britt Wolthers completes the collection with compositions where patterns and symbols interact, celebrating the diversity and vibrancy of contemporary creation.

The exhibition “Songs for Lake Geneva” showcases forty songs inspired by the lake. You can listen to and view eleven of these songs, illustrated by Cyrille Chatelain and performed by contemporary artists like Aliose and Jérémie Kisling. The remaining twenty-nine songs are presented in their original versions.

Scottish artist Karla Black presents her first solo exhibition at Galerie Mezzanin, exploring the tension between material experience and self-perception. Through sculptural works that engage with mirrors, paint, and physical presence, Black challenges the historical evolution of self-consciousness—from the reflective surfaces of the past to today’s omnipresent digital screens. Drawing on philosophical and historical references, her work seeks to disrupt the “spell” of modern self-awareness, inviting a return to a more tactile, unmediated engagement with the world.
