Featuring works by around 30 artists with diverse migratory backgrounds, the exhibition explores themes of migration, interculturality, and resilience. Notable artists include Marina Abramović, Mona Hatoum, and Shirin Neshat. The exhibition is curated by Adelina von Fürstenberg and includes a book of interviews on the concept of “home” in the context of migration. A special event on International Women’s Day (March 8, 2025) will feature workshops, performances, screenings, and a concert celebrating women artists.

Editions Zoé, a Geneva-based publishing house, has launched nearly 400 authors, standing out in the French-speaking literary world. Their archives, held at the Bibliothèque de Genève, chart this journey from artisanal printing in 1975 to prestigious literary awards. This exhibition, in collaboration with RTS Archives and Interrail, invites you to explore this rich history of success and discovery.

 

13 March – 26 April

The Patchwork exhibition brings together six Latin American artists who engage in an aesthetic dialogue rich in textures and forms, blending painting, photography, and sculpture. From Niura Bellavinha’s geometric abstraction to Pietrina Checcacci’s bronze sculptures celebrating femininity, and from Marcela Ferrero’s chromatic explorations to moments captured by Teodelina Detry and Mila Mayer, each work weaves a unique narrative. Mai-Britt Wolthers completes the collection with compositions where patterns and symbols interact, celebrating the diversity and vibrancy of contemporary creation.

Opening during the Nuit des Bains, Thursday 13 March, 18:30.

30 January – 1 June

This temporary exhibition at the International Museum of the Reformation showcases a diverse collection of works by self-taught artists from around the globe, examining themes of death and the afterlife. Curated by Lucienne Peiry, the exhibition features a wide range of pieces, including carved coffins, embroidered dresses, and paintings that provoke existential and metaphysical reflections, fostering a dialogue about the unseen and the notion of otherness.

3 October 2024 – 24 August 2025

“Tuning in – The Acoustics of Emotion” is an exhibition that delves into the connections between sound, voice, heritage, and humanitarian action. Utilizing sound archives and collections from the International Committee of the Red Cross, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, and the International Museum of the Red Cross and Red Crescent, the exhibition explores which voices we preserve, their significance, and the role of music in humanitarian efforts. It features soundtracks, historical recordings, posters, photographs, prisoners’ objects, and artworks both historical and contemporary.
