The Théâtre du Loup, established in Geneva in 1978, is a dynamic independent company with a 200-seat theater in the Vernets-Acacias neighborhood. It produces around twelve performances annually, prioritizing original works, and runs a theater school for children and teenagers. Known for its creativity and dedication to both children’s and adult theater, the company also features the MUZOO, a collection that showcases its scenic creations.
The Théâtre du Loup offers a fresh take on “Krazy Kat,” directed by Eric Jeanmonod, to celebrate the final season of the company’s founders. This theatrical adaptation, inspired by George Herriman’s renowned comic strip, explores the intriguing love triangle between a cat infatuated with a mouse, a dog smitten with the cat, and a mouse that relishes throwing bricks. Blending poetry and irony, the production gathers a talented cast for a touching and nostalgic experience.
