The exhibition is curated by Adelina von Fürstenberg and includes a book of interviews on the concept of “home” in the context of migration. During the Nuit des Musées, the Maison Tavel hosts an immersive experience curated by Ensemble Vide, featuring Japanese artist Tomoko Sauvage. Known for her hybrid instruments combining water, ceramics, underwater amplification, and electronics, Sauvage transforms the historic space with sound installations. Highlights include Buloklok, a sonic timepiece of underwater glass sculptures in the vault, Waterbowls-Concert, where submerged microphones in porcelain bowls create an electro-aquatic sound, and Vaisseau Sonore, a sound walk blending text and sound throughout the museum. The sound itself becomes material, offering a unique sensory exploration.
