Flo Kaufmann, an artist and engineer with a passion for analog technologies, will showcase a rare 1970s synthesizer once played by Geneviève Calame and Jacques Guyonnet. He will also participate in the Archipel festival with two installations.
The exhibition “Disruptions. Early Video Art in Europe,” curated by François Bovier and Stéphanie Serra in collaboration with the FMAC, delves into the origins of video art in Switzerland and its connection to 1970s European movements. Split into two chapters, the exhibition highlights video as a tool for experimentation and innovation, featuring pieces from FMAC’s video collection alongside European works.
