Musical Life in Geneva, Part II: From Baroque to Jazz

At the turn of the 20th century, music became more accessible to the general public. Once confined to private salons, it found new life in public spaces, notably through music pavilions. This shift was accompanied by a stylistic transformation, marked by the emergence of jazz, which ushered in a new golden age of music.

This conference by Arnaud Bosch is a continuation of the conference held on October 1, 2024. Attendance at the first session is not required to follow and enjoy this segment.
